Your privacy is paramount. Because Cast 2 Crew operates a digital Talent Directory and a curated Rewards Club, we collect specific data to facilitate industry discovery and member perks. This policy outlines our commitment to protecting your data under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APP).

1. Data Collection: The "Blueprint" Essentials

We only collect information necessary to execute our Services. This includes:

Identity & Contact Data: Name, date of birth (to verify 18+ eligibility for trade promotion giveaways), email address, and phone number.

Talent Profile Data (Member-Submitted Materials): Professional bios, credits, headshots, showreels, physical attributes, union affiliations, and representation details submitted to us for curation and public display.

Financial Data: Payment details and billing histories processed via secure, PCI-compliant third-party gateways. We do not store or see full credit card numbers on our local servers.

Technical, Session & Real-Time Tracking Data: IP addresses, browser types, device identifiers, geographical reference points, URL trajectories, and platform usage metrics.

Dispatched Telemetry Integration: Our systems utilize tawk.to application infrastructure to track active user footprints and session data across our domains to optimize performance, prevent giveaway fraud, and facilitate real-time communications.

2. How We Use Your Information

Curated Profile Publication: We use your submitted Talent Profile Data to manually build, format, and host a searchable, public-facing digital profile. By submitting this data to our curation queue, you provide express, ongoing consent for its public distribution for the purpose of industry discovery.

Giveaway Administration: We use your identity and contact data to verify entry eligibility for our random draws and to contact you directly per our "10-Day" notification and forfeiture rule.

Facilitation of Rewards: We use your data to verify your active membership status and generate unique discount codes, perks, or affiliate tracking links within our Rewards Club ecosystem.

Live Support & Communication Routing: We use tawk.to communication systems to manage support ticket flows, record live messaging histories, and handle data requests. Chat transcripts are retained alongside account history files to ensure compliance with our professional community standards.

Security & Anti-Fraud: We monitor network usage patterns, telemetry layers, and account activity to detect, investigate, and prevent "Friendly Fraud," malicious system abuse, or unauthorized access to our proprietary "Custom Blueprint" systems.

3. Disclosure of Data: Who Sees What?

Industry Third Parties & The Public: Any information curated into your public "Talent Profile" is intended entirely for public consumption by casting directors, talent agents, producers, and site visitors.

Business Partners: Per Section 3.2 of our Terms and Conditions, when you engage with a "Business Partner" offer, you enter into a direct contract with that partner. Cast 2 Crew only shares the minimum verification data necessary to confirm your active membership or facilitate your specific introduction/discount.

Service Providers: We share data with trusted cloud infrastructure providers, secure payment processors, automated helpdesks, and email delivery platforms (including real-time communication modules like tawk.to) that are contractually bound to protect your information to Australian standards.

Legal Requirements: We reserve the right to disclose data if required by law, subpoena, law enforcement request, or to legally defend the proprietary Intellectual Property (IP) of the Cast 2 Crew business operation.

4. Data Security & The "Official Communication" Protocol

Per Section 10.1 of our Terms and Conditions, we employ industry-standard encryption protocols. To protect yourself against phishing and cyber threats, you agree to adhere to our data security protocol:

Verification: All official Cast 2 Crew digital correspondence, data requests, or prize notifications will originate exclusively from an email address ending in @cast2crew.com.

Live Chat Authentication: Live support elements dispatched via our tawk.to communication widget are authorized customer assistance zones. However, our operators will never request sensitive system passwords, banking PINs, or raw financial details through this interface.

Member Due Diligence: You are solely responsible for the security of your platform login credentials. Cast 2 Crew staff will never ask for your password via email, SMS, or social media Direct Messages (DMs).

Force Majeure: While we maintain a proactive maintenance and security schedule, we are not liable for breaches of data security caused by global cyber-events beyond our reasonable control.

5. Your Rights, Data Retention & Complaints

Access & Correction: You have a right to access and correct the personal information we hold about you. While you can request updates to your curated profile materials via our platform request system, formal data access requests can be directed to admin@cast2crew.com.

Retention: We retain your Talent Profile data for as long as your membership is active. Upon voluntary account deletion or termination for cause (Sections 11 and 12 of the Terms), your profile is wiped from public view. However, basic account metadata, live support communication transcripts, financial transaction records, and entry logs are legally retained for financial audit, regulatory compliance, and anti-fraud purposes.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of promotional and partner marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link. You will, however, continue to receive necessary administrative communications (such as prize notifications, account security notices, or upgrade package billing receipts) as they are essential to your contract.

Privacy Complaints: If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, please submit your complaint in writing to our Privacy Officer via admin@cast2crew.com. We will investigate and respond to your complaint within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a formal complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.

6. International Data Transfers

Our secure cloud servers, database networks, processing tools, and communication infrastructure (such as tawk.to telemetry servers) may be located outside of Australia (such as in the United States, Europe, or Singapore).

By utilizing the platform, purchasing an Upgrade Package, engaging with our live support channels, or submitting data for curation, you provide express consent to the cross-border transfer, processing, and storage of your information within these secure facilities, provided they adhere to robust data protection frameworks.
