Angela Sippel was born November 13, 1985, in Leongatha, Victoria, the youngest and only Australian born of three children to Klaas and Jetty Haitsma who immigrated from the Netherlands, arriving on Australian soil November 3, 1982. Angela attended Leongatha Christian School from Prep to year 10 where she showed most attention and talent in Drama and Sports classes. Here she also developed a passion for singing and joined “The room 9 band” and performed as the lead character in the musical production “A-little-Dab’ll-Do-Ya” Directed by the late Mr Paul Carter. Angela went on to the Leongatha Secondary Collage where she elected subjects such as Theatre & Dance, to gain more experience in what she loved. Here she performed Dance routines, several short theatre productions and assisted in Costume design and Directing. Angela’s most recent work for 2016-2018 included: Village Roadshow, starring as a “featured mother” for Sea World’s Summer Commercial, “Entertainer” for Hype Promotions, getting into Character as “Alice in Wonderland” and “The Mad Hatter”, Village Road Shows Top Golf Mother, and Australian Outback extra. Previous to this work, whilst residing in a South Melbourne Suburb and with a love for Action Angela became an Extra in the Movie “The Killer Elite” starring one of her favourite action stars Jason Statham, Clive Owen and Robert Deniro. She was an extra in “Surviving Georgia” Starring Holly Valance and played the role of “Constable. J. Casey” in the TV series “Rush”. Angela has also had the opportunity to Model for Hair and Makeup stylists, International Travel and Fashion Campaign, and Viva Las Vegas Hot Rod Rockabilly show. Throughout Angela’s extra, acting and modelling experiences/opportunities, in 2007 she studied and worked as a personal trainer. With her passion for fitness, being healthy and encouraging others, Angela had the ambition of starting her own business with opening her own gym. Angela began studying Business to gain the knowledge and skills she would need, but was then approached with an opportunity to continue business studies as a “Business Trainee” in her home town on a Desalination Project in 2010. With a work transfer request to Gladstone, Angela found herself in the position of Document Controller and her dreams of pursuing a business in Personal Training or Acting diminished. Having now 7 years’ experience across Rail, Tunnelling and the Oil and Gas industry which saw her move around Australia, Angela began Fly in Fly Out (FIFO) work to the Oil & Gas mine. In September 2017, Angela decided to finish her demanding role in the mines, which saw her determined and dedicated to her passion of training, with 3am gym sessions, 12hr work days and a struggle for a healthy lifestyle. Angela knew she should be home with her now husband and two adorable Staffordshire pups to continue to pursue her dreams and use her God given gifts/talent and diversity to inspire and encourage others. Angela went on to be one of the 12 contestants in the first season of the television series “Action Star TV” which had her filming in a Gold Coast mansion, acting, performing fight choreography (gaining knowledge from fight choreographer legends Richard Norton and Trung Ly), accomplishing stunts, singing, and achieving difficult challenges in which we saw Angela take out the title of Action Star TV Winner 2018 in the magnificent TV series finale to now continuing a career in her new found love for stunts. In May 2018 Angela had the opportunity to continue stunt training in LA with Anthony De Longis working with Knives, Swords, Sticks and advanced fighting. Wire work, hand pulls, military and guns with Matt Anderson, Horse stunts with Dale Gibson, Ratchets and Decel with Tony Sneggoff and High falls, Air rams and Russian swing with Scott Leva. Angela has since achieved her goal of becoming a certified Stunt Person in October 2018 and has since had the opportunity to double and stunt perform on series such as “Harrow Season 2”, “Reef Break”, Feature Film “Godzilla Vs Kong, and perform in TVC’s. Angela continues to train in stunts and martial arts in hopes to continuously improve herself and continue working on set.
