Job Description: As The Pink Flamingo Spiegelclub builds on its late-night experience we are seeking a Late-Night Sales and Events Manager that loves late night parties, late night events and functions with late night entertainment.
This full-time position requires a person who can find the customers and sell Pink Flamingo Spiegelclub for the perfect place to celebrate any milestone.
A person who can effectively deliver and promote key dates and projects within the promotional calendar which drives sales and foot traffic e.g. University activities, Valentine’s day, Christmas, New Year, Public holidays etc.
You are that person that likes to wear many hats, that likes to see a project from inception through to conception then to completion. A person that can release their right brain creative side but also use their logical left brain.
You are large in personality and likeable. But you would be educated in the field of business sales and marketing. You would have late night venue sales and marketing experience. This is not a job to learn as you go you would bring a strong and sound knowledge of sales and have exceptional abilities and the necessary skills and education to be successful.
The role has several main objectives including:
Office and administration duties;
Handle site inspections for venue functions, events;
Process and handle sales – events and functions, bottle service sales, birthday, hens and bucks packages;
Handle general enquiries including complaints;
Build a reporting system for the handling of all guests; (database)
Prepare and present the floor plan and guest allocation for the venue;
Communicate with clients pre and post events, ensuring they have all relevant information prior to, and ensuring we have a post analysis on their experience; (trip advisor, google reviews)
Reporting on the how, where and why customers are visiting the venue;
Identify and build rapport with all businesses that are beneficial or fit well with our business;
Collecting and reporting on the sales calls and leads;
Operating in accordance with statutory requirements and company procedures;
Attend all business meetings;
Contribute to the employment and training of in venue staff;
Manage others to achieve your results.
The specific responsibilities of the role include:
Answering and responding to calls and enquiries;
Managing incoming calls and relaying calls to the correct person;
Handling booking enquiries;
Updating and maintaining the client database;
Producing weekly bookings and guest lists for the venue;
Liaising with the social media coordinator to ensure cohesion between sales and marketing strategies;
Providing feedback and contributing ideas in building a larger and strong VIP client base;
Contributing to the development, innovation, and creation of ideas to grow sales;
Participating in overall sales strategy planning internally and with key stakeholders;
Contacting existing and potential clients to secure sales, including cold calls;
Creating a weekly sales calendar with ideas for generating sales through marketing, social media, and other channels
Building on the calendar of events weekly to include any new opportunities; e.g. events being held at the GCCC,
Researching and finding joint venture opportunities with other in house or external brands;
